Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Mau Mau. A higher minimum age may apply in your country. If you are under the age of legal majority, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms where required by law.

2. Accounts and access

Mau Mau may be accessed with a website account, a Facebook or Meta Instant Games identity, or a supported mobile or guest identity. You are responsible for the security of credentials and devices used to access your account. Do not sell, transfer, share or impersonate another person's account. Information you provide must be accurate and must not violate another person's rights.

3. The game and virtual items

Mau Mau is an entertainment card game. Game progress, ratings, experience, titles, gold, silver and other virtual items are licensed features of the service. They have no real-world monetary value, cannot be redeemed for cash and may not be sold or transferred outside functionality expressly provided by the game.

We may balance game rules, rewards, entry costs and virtual items to maintain fair gameplay. We will not intentionally remove paid entitlements in a way that violates applicable consumer law.

4. Purchases

Where purchases are available, prices and currency are shown before confirmation. Purchases may be processed by Meta, an app store or another payment provider, whose additional terms apply. Refunds are handled under the rules of the relevant platform, applicable law and any mandatory consumer rights. Do not initiate unauthorized or fraudulent transactions.

5. Fair play and acceptable conduct

You must not:

• cheat, collude, exploit defects, manipulate matchmaking or use unauthorized automation;
• reverse engineer, interfere with, overload or attempt unauthorized access to the game or its servers;
• harass, threaten, deceive or abuse other players;
• post illegal, hateful, sexually explicit, infringing or otherwise harmful content;
• collect another user's information without authorization; or
• use Mau Mau for commercial solicitation, gambling or any unlawful purpose.

We may investigate suspected violations and take proportionate action, including warnings, removal of content, restriction of features, suspension or termination of access.

6. Player content and communications

You remain responsible for messages and other content you submit. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive right to process and display that content only as needed to operate, moderate and protect the game. Do not submit confidential information in game chat.

7. Third-party platforms

Your use of Facebook, Meta Instant Games, an app store or a payment service is also governed by that provider's terms and policies. Those providers operate independently and may change or discontinue their services. Meta and other third-party providers are not responsible for Mau Mau, and LoGames is not responsible for services outside our control.

8. Intellectual property

Mau Mau software, artwork, text, audio, branding and other game content are owned by or licensed to LoGames and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the game for entertainment in accordance with these Terms.

9. Availability and changes

We work to keep Mau Mau available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, network failures, security incidents, platform changes or events outside our control may interrupt access. We may update, replace or discontinue features. Where legally required, we will provide reasonable notice of material changes.

10. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, Mau Mau is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties that the service will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections. To the extent permitted by law, LoGames is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the game or third-party services.

11. Termination

You may stop using Mau Mau at any time and may request account deletion. We may suspend or terminate access for serious or repeated violations, security risks, fraud or legal requirements. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain effective.

12. Privacy and deletion

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when the game, platform requirements or applicable law change. The current version and update date will be published on this page. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms where permitted by law.
